About Us

The ARC Hotel was set up in 1984 by the then Egerton College through support from the Government of the United States of America, and was officially opened in July, 1985.

Situated within the Egerton University, 25 kms from Nakuru town and 5 Kms from Njoro along Mau-Narok road.

The ARC Hotel is a “three Star” hotel, which has become a hub of activities catering for both local and international visitors.

The ARC Hotel also gives the very best in Conferencing and Banqueting facilities for all corporate, social and personal events.

We have capacity to cater for 300 pax in conference, 300 pax in the restaurant and 90 rooms for accommodation.

We have expansive gardens for team building activities, weddings, retreats, camping etc.

The 90 rooms situated in both the main hotel (ARC) and Utafiti (CMRT), are all      provided with necessary luxuries and facilities for every comfort.  It is a quiet, cool and friendly atmosphere.

The conference grounds are very tastefully landscaped and can be easily converted into venues for a wedding, cocktail or team-building exercises ….weather permitting.

Our restaurant offers a warm and friendly atmosphere, of easy luxury and the best in Hospitality and service.

We offer Buffet, Ala Carte and Table Dhote Menu Services, of a wide variety of delicious, class Local, African and International Dishes.

Incase of special dietary needs e.g. Allergies, vegetarians etc, our chef is more than ready to tailor-make your speciality. The restaurant is also perfect for a drink or a quick snack.

The Mau Narok Bar

The Mau-Narok Bar (Pub) is located next to the reception and it offers a wide range of soft and hard drinks, cocktails and wines taken in a relaxed and subdued atmosphere.

One can also watch their favorite sports here on our state of the art satellite television (DSTV).

Gym

The Gym;-

Our Gym is an active fitness oriented facilities and after a hard day’s job cycle nothing feels better than working out or just “steaming” it off. We are open 7:a.m. – 6:00 pm daily.

Guided by our instructors and assisted by state-of-the-art equipment, our fitness program makes getting into shape fun.

Swimming is one of the best exercises you can give your body. A dip in our pool is just the exercise to take on a hot day.

We boast of a Half-Olympic size swimming pool with sparkling blue skied clear water with the surroundings that makes one forget the strains of a long Safari, or busy working schedules.
